I hired an M3 Touring through this outfit and it was a great experience. The guy who handed over the car was really accommodating and helpful. The car was phenomenal and everything in the process was super simple and straight forward. Definitely recommend!

The best prices for cars in Germany. Good communication with customers, the deposit was returned the next day. I recommend👍

Fantastic service that I wish we had in Australia. Will definitely use again when in Germany. Great selection of cars at reasonable prices with great professional service. Had a Cayman GTS this time around for a few days and look forward to trying some of the other fleet vehicles next time!

Great company. Rented a GT4 in Stuttgart, they took the time to walk around the car to document any damages, asked for me to take pictures and videos. Great process, Car was clean and in excellent shape. Super service, could not be happier. I will have to do a trip every year from now on.

Such an awesome experience! Rented a BMW M3 and the ride was such an amazing experience. Pick up was in Munich and drop off was in Salzburg and each time was ABSOLUTELY seamless. Will definitely rent again when I'm in Germany!

Sightseeing in Dusseldorf: Small, Rich, Worth Seeing

The name of the city itself is quite quirky, as it’s the only large city in Germany with "Dorf" (village) in its name. The “Düssel” comes from a 40-kilometer-long tributary of the Rhine, which meanders through the city. If that doesn't intrigue you enough, here are a few attractions that Dusseldorf has to offer.

If you want to get a first overview of the city, head to the Rheinturm. However, you should not be afraid of heights, as the café at the observation deck is located over 160 meters above ground—adults pay €12.50 for the ride up. Starting from Dusseldorf Hauptbahnhof, you can reach the Rheinturm in 15 minutes by tram (lines 708/709). If you prefer walking, it’s only a 30-minute stroll.

Right next to it, the Rheinpromenade invites you to take a walk, leading directly to the historic Old Town. If you’re already hungry or looking to wind down your day, this is the perfect spot. Notable sights here include the Marktplatz with the Old Town Hall, Burgplatz with the Schlossturm, and St. Lambertus Basilica. You can also enjoy some greenery at Hofgarten nearby.

The Königsallee, affectionately known as the Kö by locals, has already been mentioned – and for good reason. It’s the city’s flagship street, similar to Munich’s Maximiliansstraße or Stuttgart’s Königstraße. Expensive shops and restaurants line both sides of the canal. Car enthusiasts will also enjoy it here, as the area is a prime spot to spot and photograph stunning exotic cars.

Speaking of cars: If you have a passion for vehicles, you can’t miss the Classic Remise in Dusseldorf. Not only does it feature fantastic vintage cars, but the exhibition also delights fans of more modern vehicles. The best part? The exhibition is free. There’s also a café in the hall, making it a great spot for a break. From Dusseldorf Hauptbahnhof, it takes about 20 minutes to reach the Classic Remise via S6 and bus 732.

Dusseldorf: Where Driving is Extra Fun!

Dusseldorf is often underestimated, and our suggestions are just a small selection of what the city has to offer. However, you probably didn’t land with us because you want to stay exclusively in Dusseldorf. To make the most of your time with our rental cars, we want to give you a route recommendation.

The route starts in Duisburg and leads all the way to the Teutoburg Forest near Paderborn. This is the Westfälische Hellweg, a historic route between the Rhine and Elbe that has been used for over 5,000 years – even before the Romans and Germans. The route first follows the Ruhr River, then veers north at Witten near Höhenstein, looping around the center of Dortmund before continuing east to Paderborn.

You'll drive about 200 kilometers until you reach Bad Driburg in the Teutoburg Forest. Depending on the vehicle you’ve rented, there should be no problem exploring a few more streets near the famous Varus Battle site, before heading back to Dusseldorf. If you happen to exceed the free mileage allowance, don’t worry – it’s not a big deal. You’ll only pay extra for the additional kilometers. The cost per kilometer varies by vehicle but is usually under €2.

FAQ

You can also easily book your rental car in Dusseldorf through our booking software. You can choose whether you'd like a smaller vehicle, an electric car, or a sporty convertible.

At the start of your rental period, the desired car will be ready for pickup as the guaranteed model. This way, you won't encounter any unpleasant surprises and will receive exactly the car you booked – not just one from the "same category."

At our Dusseldorf location, rental car prices also fluctuate depending on demand. For example, you’re more likely to find a bargain when renting a convertible in winter than during the summer holidays.

In general, the day of the week and the rental duration also play a significant role in the pricing. Simply experiment with your rental period and compare prices if you're looking to find a particularly affordable rental car.
