BMW 4 Series at a glance
Actually, the BMW 4 Series is just the coupe or convertible version of the 3 Series. At some point, the vehicle manufacturer from Munich decided that the more exciting body shape should also bear a different name compared to the sedan.
This now also has the consequence that the 4 Series costs more to buy than the BMW 3 Series.
To be fair, though, it also has the better basic equipment and is only available with more powerful engines.
The 4 Series is therefore more for the emotional driver who wants to experience driving pleasure and appreciates great design.
Although according to the nomenclature, the BMW 5 Series is the next largest model variant of BMW, but this is quite different from the vehicle segment. Therefore, the BMW 8 Series should be considered here. This offers, however, despite significantly increased external dimensions in the interior no more space than the 4 Series.
